By acknowledging your emotions, you are giving yourself the space to heal,” says Kapoor.

Even if the person is not around you physically, you feel the absence in the most painful ways. You might even feel like texting that person or talking it all out, but your cries will fall on deaf ears. You must value yourself by creating physical and emotional distance from the person you are trying to forget.
If possible, limit your contact with them. Unfollow or unfriend them on social media platforms to reduce reminders. Clear out items that remind you of them from your living space. This distance will help create a new space for personal growth and healing.

Sharing your thoughts and feelings with trusted individuals can provide comfort and guidance. Professional counselling or therapy may also be beneficial, as therapists can offer valuable tools and coping strategies to help you heal.
